This pet photo session was one of my favorites of all time...Mocha and Dusty are great puppies full of personality, and it's obvious that they are much loved by their people!

A recent photo session at the Portland Chinese Shao-Lin Center provided the kung fu school with new images of the school, the instructor, and the students for their marketing materials.

I recently had a session with Mandy at Cannon Beach. She is updating her modeling portfolio and wanted new images with a beautiful outdoor location setting. Mandy is a natural model, and such a pleasure to work with!

Inquiring minds have wanted to know, so I've added a new question to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the Portrait of a Vegan page:

Are you vegan?

Yes! I am proud to say I've been vegan for 6 years (as of May 2008), and was vegetarian for about 9 years before that.

This project gives me the chance to blend two of my passions: Veganism and photography.

My current project, "Portrait of a Vegan," is about 6 weeks old now and is already such a success thanks to the wonderful vegan community here in the Portland area.

Already 37 make that 38 vegans have contacted me, and most have already had their portraits taken or are on the schedule for the near future. I am overjoyed with how thoughtful all of the participants are with their portrait location choices and questionnaire responses. They are making this project a real pleasure for me and I can't thank each and every one of them enough!
